Wildfire (pictured):

(Inlaid colored Acrylic, monitor, blue-ray player, speakers, anaglyph 3D glasses.)

This is an ongoing project exploring the relationship between significant personal memories and the objects associated with them, such as my childhood toy chest and the pop music from that time. Fabricated from a combination of 3D modeling, laser-cut and thermoformed acrylic, and 3D videography, these sculptures use elaborate and up-to-the-minute technical processes to explore the orphic world of memory where the personal meets the manufactured.

Funded by: The Frank-Ratchye Studio for Creative Inquiry, The Berkman Faculty Development Fund, and a S.O.D Faculty Development grant.
